GUATEMALAN CUISINE CHRONICLES, by Chef Amalia Damgaard, is a series of cooking demonstrations with a cultural flair highlighting traditional dishes from various regions of Guatemala. The first class of the series entitled Antigua Flavors is on February 9; the second one, Mayan Stews, is on March 9; and the third one, Guatemalan Seafood Classics is on April 6. Location: Midtown Global Market "Kitchen in the Market", Suite 107, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Cost: $50 per class or $125 for the series of three.
